Assets and Areas are at the heart of Samurai. They represent the equipment, systems, and locations you maintain, organised in a way that reflects how your site operates.

An Asset is any item that requires maintenance tracking such as a vehicle, pump, conveyor, or generator.
An Area is a logical or physical location used to group assets, such as Workshop, Processing Plant, or Haul Road.

By structuring assets within areas, you can plan, track, and report maintenance activity in a way that matches your real-world operations.
