Dashboards

Dashboards give you an at-a-glance view of what is happening across your operation right now: open and overdue work, assets that are down, upcoming inspections and services, and how your fleet is performing. Where a report answers a specific question, a dashboard keeps the most important numbers in front of you all the time.

All dashboards are found under Dashboards in the left-hand menu.

Available dashboards

  • Overview: the day's maintenance in one place, including a Daily Summary, Work Order counts, failure and cause codes, and outstanding work by department
  • Work Orders: Work Order volumes, status, priority, job readiness and planned vs unplanned work
  • Work Requests: Work Requests opened, approved and rejected, and what is still outstanding
  • Forms: forms in progress and completed, and the most-used forms
  • Downtime: a live board of every asset that is currently down
  • Operational: downtime, inspections, services, compliance and availability for a chosen period
  • Performance Dashboard: a rotating, full-screen board designed for workshop or control-room TVs
  • Utilisation and Reliability: KPI dashboards for availability, utilisation, MTBF, MTTR and stoppages

Who can see dashboards

Each dashboard is controlled by your user role, so you may not see every dashboard listed above. Administrators can grant access in User Roles.

The Performance Dashboard and Reliability dashboard are not switched on for any role by default. An administrator needs to add them to a role before they appear in the menu.

Department access

Dashboards only include data from the departments you have access to. If numbers look lower than expected, check which departments are assigned to your user. See Adding Users.

Several dashboards also have a Department filter, so you can narrow the view further.

Clicking through to the detail

Most dashboard figures are links. Click a number, chart segment or show more... to open the matching list of Work Orders, Events or assets, already filtered.

Auto-refresh settings

The Downtime and Performance dashboards refresh automatically, so they can be left running on a screen. Two settings control this, in App Settings → Dashboard:

  • Refresh interval: how often the dashboard reloads, in seconds. The default is 60.
  • Records per page: how many rows are shown before the dashboard moves to the next page. The default is 25.
